Today, Tuesday 11 February, is International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2020 – a day used to recognise the contribution of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields and to promote and strengthen their participation. In recognition of the day, we introduce you to St Helena Government Nursery Officer, Vanessa-Thomas Williams. Vanessa is a custodian of the genetic diversity of St Helena’s endemic plants.
