Reminder of vaccination clinic for 5 – 11 year olds

The KEMH would like to remind parents that there will be a COVID-19 vaccination clinic of the Pfizer vaccine for children aged between 5 and 11 years old on Saturday 13 August in the KEMH. Timings for the class groups have been sent to parents through the school.

This clinic is aimed at those children who have not yet received their second primary dose however children who have recently turned five can attend for their first dose. Those children in Year 7 who have recently turned 12 and have not yet had their second dose will be offered a dose of Moderna vaccine.

Parents of children living in Camp who are due a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine are asked to email practicemanager@kemh.gov.fk to confirm the location they would like to have their children vaccinated on Tuesday 9 August.

If there are any parents who have questions regarding their children’s vaccinations please email the Health Visitor on HealthVisitor@kemh.gov.fk.

Remember, being fully vaccinated gives you the best chance of avoiding Covid-19 or being seriously affected should you become infected and also reduces your chance of transmitting the virus to others. It will also help you should you wish to go overseas for business, pleasure or in an emergency.
